Like Apollo Creed, USC needed a last minute replacement to fill a spot on the schedule. Like Apollo Creed, USC is as cocky as they come, but they have every reason to be. Fresno State is the last minute replacement just like Rocky. The Italian Stallion was a hard-nosed blue collar guy who just wanted to fight. Sounds like Fresno State, all the Bulldogs want is a chance to play and show what they got.If Fresno State takes USC the distance and leaves them bloody and hurt, will the Trojans want a rematch to prove that is was a fluke?
At least one writer thinks Fresno State will come out like Glass Joe instead of Rocky.
