'Dogs 22nd in BCS

Fresno State moves up two spots in the Bowl Championship Series Standings, despite still only getting one rank in the 6 computers. TCU remains the only other non-BCS school ranked in the BCS standings at 17th.

Notre Dame has virtually assured itself a place in the BCS with a 11th ranking, as long as the Irish win out. To be chosen for an at-large berth a school must be ranked in the top 12 of the BCS standings, and in Notre Dame's case the Irish must have at least nine wins and no more than two losses.

Oklahoma fell out of the 25th spot from last week despite not playing a game, and no. 23 Georgia Tech, no. 24 Minnesota, and no. 25 Louisville are new to the rankings this week.

USC remained atop the BCS rankings for the second consecutive week, and fellow Pac 10 school is ranked 10th.
