Shot at Revenge

Former Oregon State quarterback Jonathan Smith gets another shot at the Fresno State defense. Smith is in his second year as the quarterbacks coach at Idaho, and has his first shot at Fresno State as an assistant. His chance at revenge rest in the hands of junior starting quarterback Steven Wichman. Wichman is 61st in the NCAA in passing efficiency, I doubt he will have much success against an aggressive Bulldogs defense.

Smith was 1-1 in his career as a player for the Beavers. As a sophomore he led OSU to a 46-23 win in Corvallis in 1999. In his second game against Fresno State, he was not as successful. The Bulldogs demolished the senior's 10th ranked Beavers, 44-24.
