comments from Carolina Panthers' head coach John Fox:On rookie cornerback Richard Marshall: He played at Fresno (State), which is maybe not a household name here on the East Coast, but they play very stiff competition. We were able to evaluate him against some top-notch competition. He has got good ball skills, good awareness. His head coach (Pat Hill) is a guy that coached in this League and has seen what it takes to play in this League. He came with very high recommendations. All of our coaches watched him. We had him (rated) very high on our board. When that opportunity came along, he was a guy we scooped up.
