These are the 14 players that have verbally committed to Fresno State based on the sources that I have used. Fresno State supposedly has only 14 scholarships available according to a article in the Fresno Bee. However, the Bee reports today that only 11 players have orally committed to the Bulldogs. Huh? It is hard to know if all the recruits I listed are correct or if the Bee is misinformed. If correct Fresno State has certainly tried to improve their linebacking corps. Of the 14 verbals, 5 are linebackers(Bell pictured above). Miller is still the stud of the class, and could play as a true.

Richard Marshall's early departure for the NFL frees up another scholarship, I presume. All-American punter Kyle Peterson and Clovis East DE Chris Lewis are top players that are still seriously considering Fresno State, as is WR/DB James Dockery despite his soft verbal to Oregon State.

first of all, ronna, do u got pix of urself so us guys can say "yummy pix"? well, i think we could finish with close to a top25 class if we can eventually land Chris Lewis and Peterson the kicker. we know what we can do 'without the talent' so im excited to see what happens if we actually get some 'good talent' when alls said and done.

Rivals.com has FS ranked 81st nationally, but have only nine verbals listed on their site, minus Bell, Jacobs, Schenck, Thomas and Wilson. None of those guys are higher than 2 star recruits. Although Peterson is an All-American he is listed only as a 2-3 star guy, same with Lewis. A top 60 class would be a coup for Hill considering all the NFL talk has somewhat hindered recruiting.
