'Dogs Lose RB Coach

Fresno State running back coach John Settle has accepted a similar position at Wisconsin. Settle joins former offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti as Pat Hill assistants to bolt for BCS schools. Settle was responsible for coaching six 1,000 yard rushers while at Fresno State. Settle was a 1,000 yard rusher in the NFL in 1988 while playing for the Atlanta Falcons, and was a member of the 1991-92 Super Champion Washington Redskins. He was free agent acquisition out of Appalachian State, and became the first free agent in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.
